If the above armrest is fitted with the lock in the focal point of the fence, the function will change. The angle between the seat and armrests will be constant - independent of the angle of the seat backrest. This is particularly relevant if the user has limitations in the ability to correct the elbow joint - a typical picture of muscular dystrophy.

The angled armrest is also available in a version without support leg / lock. This armrest can be swung up and backwards - and back again - without the support leg to be steered in place.
The horizontal slots in the transducer cause the armrest pad to be adjusted longitudinally.
